LangCapture helps you capture workplace English expressions, generate reusable patterns, and store them in your library. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website, app, and APIs.

• User Content: Sentences or passages you submit, generated variants, translations, context/intent tags, and any related audio you request through text-to-speech.
• Usage and Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps.
• Cookies and Identifiers: Session cookies, locale preferences, UI settings, and analytics or attribution identifiers where enabled.
• Billing and Transaction Data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer IDs, subscription status, invoices, and related metadata.

• Provide, operate, and maintain LangCapture features, including sentence structuring, translations, pattern generation, and text-to-speech.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us deliver the service:

• AI Processing: OpenRouter (LLM inference) for sentence structuring and analysis.
• Text-to-Speech: Minimax for speech synthesis.
• Storage: S3-compatible object storage for audio assets.
• Payments: Stripe for payment processing and billing.
• Email: Resend for transactional emails.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami, PostHog, OpenPanel, Seline, Clarity, Ahrefs, DataFast, or Vercel Analytics when configured.
• Auth Providers: Google and GitHub for social login when enabled.

We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect our users and systems.

Data Retention

We retain account and user content for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data; some information may be retained to comply with legal, accounting, or security requirements. Backups may persist for a limited period.
